Gift Certificate Policy

Remissio Wellness Inc. no longer sells gift certificates.
The following policy applies to gift certificates issued prior to January 1, 2024.
1. Purchased Gift Certificates (Issued Prior to January 1, 2024)
In accordance with Ontario consumer protection legislation, purchased gift certificates issued for a specific dollar amount do not expire.
Gift certificates:
Are non-refundable
Are not redeemable for cash
Have no cash value
Are honoured as dollar-value credit only
All redemptions are subject to current policies, service availability, and pricing in effect at the time of booking.
If a specific service or package is no longer offered, the dollar value paid will be applied toward currently available services.
2. Verification Requirement
Gift certificates issued prior to January 1, 2024 must be verifiable in official records.
Clients may be required to provide:
The original certificate
Proof of purchase
Approximate purchase details
If a certificate cannot be reasonably verified, Remissio Wellness Inc. is unable to confirm an outstanding balance and cannot honour the certificate.
A one-time goodwill credit may be offered at the sole discretion of Remissio Wellness Inc. where verification is not possible.
3. Donation & Promotional Certificates
Gift certificates issued for donation, fundraising, or promotional purposes may carry expiry dates as stated at the time of issue.
Expired donation or promotional certificates will not be extended or redeemed.
4. General Terms
Gift certificates cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
Remissio Wellness Inc. reserves the right to update this policy in accordance with applicable legislation.
